We started completely by accident!!

It’s true! Wayyyyy back in 2001, Dave Daniels (the President of our company) had already been working for many years as a successful Realtor in Southern California.

But he found it hard to find a graphic designer who simply “got it”, so he wound up doing all of his own marketing, and competing agents soon became very familiar with his unique flyers, postcards, signs, etc. They’d often call and ask where he got all of his stuff done, and of course Dave explained he did it himself.

A few were bold enough to ask if he’d be willing to help them with their own marketing, but sheesh!! They were his competitors! LOL! Dave had a definite advantage in his market, and although he’s a heckuva nice guy, something seemed funny about sharing his marketing secrets, strategies and/or design skills with his competition.

However, as summer of 2001 approached, Dave and a partner found an investment property in a sleepy little town 40 miles away. It needed some TLC, and after having just closed 8 transactions the month before, Dave decided to take some time off to rehab the property. New floors, new kitchen, new paint, new everything! He also fell in love with the smaller and much slower paced town. During this time, he received even more phone calls from those same agents. They had heard that Dave was on ‘hiatus’, and thought maybe now he’d be willing to help them with their marketing. And this time they were right!

Dave thought, “Hmm...I’m taking about six months off, and I MIGHT actually wind up moving to Hemet (he did, by the way)...so how much harm could be done in helping out some fellow agents?”

At first, there were only a handful of customers, but as other agents saw the marketing they could get, Dave’s client base grew. First to 50, then 100, then 200, then 500 and more! Today, FlyersToYou has become an international company, providing real estate marketing solutions to agents all over the country and Canada. And to think...it all happened by accident!
